Been running speed tests since day one. As bill said, they vary widely. In the driveway, between houses, I get 8-10 megs down and up. Move the car 20' to the sidewalk, I get almost 30 down, but only 5-6 up. But then 30 secs. Later, it drops to 10 megs. It all over the place and not steady. The nearest tower is about 2 mi. Away, but that doesn't matter obviously since speed is dependent on many factors. Im just happy that so far, ive been able to get least a mediocre signal to do pretty much whatever I want. Sometimes at reduced quality. Im not complaining. Imo, don't make too much out of speed tests. If you're only getting 1meg or less, yeah, that's not the best.
