Can't tell ya. I've seen it do 3D but never created anything. I started using TurboCAD for architectural, MEP, and TV studio 1-Line drawings. I HATED AutoCAD because of the lousy keyboard interface, and at the time LT was just as bad. I still have a new copy of LT at the office because of that. TC works with tons of formats, way more than AutoCAD IIRC but I stuck with .DWG for all I do for compatibility, until at least the AutoCAD knuckleheads every few years would change their version of .DWG and nothing would work. We finally all standardized on saving in a previous version of AC to make everyone happy.
Roy: Dunno anything about Windoz 10. I used this on XP exclusively and there's still skid marks on the carpet out of my office hanging onto the XP PC when the IT folks attempted to swap it, even after 7 was obsolete... :)
Back to the 3D pricing, I do believe there is a trial period to test drive the various packages. If you talk to someone at IMSI, once you are on their radar you will start seeing random Good Buddy deals in the mail once in awhile.
