Avast for Android

Question

Did an "update" on my tablet's Avast AP, and when finished, in the accounts section, it said Avast developed in China?Is this for real? I thought they are a Czechoslovakian company?

So whats if it is? Kaspersky is Russian and is one of the most respected security companies in the world.
