Backing up computer

Is the OP asking about hardware or software?
I have a copy in the cloud but also a copy on DVD's in case I cannot access the cloud.

I use Macrium Reflect to clone the PC hard drive(s). Windows has some builtin backup and recovery stuff as well, but I've not used it. For backup of critical files to the "cloud" I use Carbonite.

We use and 500GB external hard drive to backup our Pics, documents, faves, downloads and desktop. We use the Win-8 backup/recovery (under systems) to create a recovery point for the aps and OS.
