Yeah, and it REALLY is a good idea to back everything up. our Dell running windows XP died with no warning. UGH. We lost all our emails etc etc. we had backed everything up, but not recently.
We had to buy a new computer and Microsoft walked us through (actually, they remoted in and did it) moving everything from the old hard drive to the new one.
I have a new routine. periodic backing up is great but now I have a flash drive and every week or so I load my recent pictures on it. I can delete them when a back up is done. I also now save my excel spreadsheets to google so I don't lose my data.
It took me forever to straighten it all out.
