Backup camera 5th wheel - which one & where?

Question

We have a 29 ft Keystone Laredo 5th - wheel and I want to install a backup camera to help me when backing into sites. My wife used to guide me but she no longer can, thus my wanting a backup camera.
My questions?
1. For this use what should I look for in a camera? I.e. do I want a fairly narrow view or a very wide angle or something in between? Do I want "guidelines" or whatever the lines that are superimposed on the viewing screen are called?
2. Where to mount the camera?
I assume up high and in the center since it seems that is where the cameras are on motor homes and I don't see why trailers would be different?
3. Is IR lighting of much benefit?

This is just my opinion but many times over our recent 8 month trip around the country, I backed the rig in without help. It just takes getting out and looking and planning how you are going to do it. Stop and get out as you go if you have any question where the other end is going.

It seems to me that trying to back up a truck and trailer while watching a TV monitor is a recipe for disaster. I'll look forward to the opinions of others as I start the popcorn.

I use a wireless camera, but just kind of give it a glance when backing into a site. I do however use it all the time while traveling and wouldnt want to be without it. Mine is mounted high (about a foot from roof edge) and has a wide angle that lets me see vehicles directly behind me and in adjacent lanes. I think the camera is less important than the size of monitor. Mine is a 7" monitor and for me that is a perfect size. Hope this helps.

I'm looking for one myself, I'm pulling a TT and will be 53' overall length. A lot get bad reviews because of poor picture.

This model does not seem to be available any longer. It is aPKCORC which has a seven inch monitor. All the ones I see available now have much smaller monitors but the camera is the same.
