Battery power TV use

We are going to spend one night on a parking lot dry camping on our way to Gulf Shores. My question..What is the best way to run a regular TV in the bedroom on battery power? We are in a fifth wheel with no generator.
  • Guess you just don't get the purpose of these sites do ya - maybe you shouldn't renew
  • How much viewing time would you get out of two (2) 6V fully charged?

Cant one put on an isolator on the truck and re-charge the batteries -- how long would you need to run the truck to fully recharge both batts?
  • Hi,

A Samlex pure sine wave inverter. 300 watts will be plenty. It is a nice addition for charging items such as cell phones and laptops.
  • Small inverter.
look on TV for wattage draw. Get a small inverter that has about twice the wattage of the TV so that if you need to run VCR/DVD player or sat dish you can.
  • if your tv is 120v
then you either buy a small inverter or you buy a new 12v TV,

my choice is buy the inverter

but for one night, couldn't you read a book, watch movie on laptop, or other mobile device
call it an early night and get some sleep

these are options do NOT require the inverter, provided they have good charged batteries
