We have been Garmin users for many years but we were interested in the RV Friendly type GPS so recently bought the Rand McNally RV unit. Terribly disappointing!
If you are planning to travel in Canada the maps are limited and out of date, POI's unreliable. I asked for gas stations at a specific exit and was told none. Coming up to the exit we see the highways sign with 3 stations advertised. Thinking they must not be RV friendly, we carry on only to see huge travel stations on the parallel road. The programmers used a simple conversion program so that when travelling in kilometres the speedometer is reading 98 rather than 100. I miss having voice activation and bluetooth capabilities that I enjoyed on our Garmin Nuvi. I would not recommend this unit.
