- coolmom42Explorer III use the built-in Windows protection suite + Avast Free + Malwarebytes Free.
The Malwarebytes is for occasional cleanup, and the last few times I've run it, it found nothing.
No need to pay for that stuff any more. Microsoft does a good job. Don't click on stupid stuff and stay off porn sites, (no insult intended just a fact) and you won't have any issues.
Whatever you do, DO NOT get McAfee. Everyone I know who uses it has random problems. - rk911Exploreri use

Ditto on Norton, I used Kaspersky but the US Government banned it from any Federal systems which was good enough for me. I dropped it in the middle of the subscription. Supposedly it is fully owned by the Russian gov. - I have tried many over the years.

- agesilausExplorer IIII've use most of the major brands over the years, and finally many were recommending just using the Win 10 built in AV software. Which I've been doing for over a year now with no problems.
