In your experience, how often do you have a good enough wi-fi signal to stream movies (Netflix, etc.) at a campground? I'm weighing the hassle/expense of taking Directv on the road this summer...
Only stayed at one park that had free wifi suitable for streaming. It was in the Reno area and there were only 15 or so units in the place in winter. I'm sure, with many more sharing bandwidth, it would not have worked. Tried Verizon LTE/4G with our Jetpack. It works well in many places but you will burn through your GBs quickly. About 1 GB per hour of streaming video.
