While it isn't always the problem, the bandwidth of the campground's connection to the internet is often the real problem. The better the WiFi the park provides, the heavier it will be used. The heavier it is used the bigger the bandwidth problem becomes. Some of the nicest locations for campgrounds are far enough from high speed internet connections that all that is available is satellite. No matter how good the WiFi is, running it all through a satellite connection is going to be slow. Even T1s, Cable, ore even fiber, etc all get expensive for lots of bandwidth...
