My iPad is used almost entirely without live internet. FilesPro, iBooks, etc. are great for that.
Thanks for mentioning that, I would prefer to access the contents of the CD on my iPad without the necessity of using wifi. However, Dropbox sounds like a good program to use if I must be online.
