Can I make my television play back through stereo receiver?

I have a Jensen JE1911 television connected via HDMI to a Jensen AWM975 stereo. I've been trying to find a way to get the TV to play back sound through the stereo system speakers instead of relying on...

OK. On the back of the TV (your model) you will have a Yellow/Red/White RCA output. Use just the Red/White Audio from that TV output and run the 2 wire RCA cable to the 2 wire RCA AUDIO INPUT of the Jensen AWM975 DVD player. Turn the TV speakers OFF, then turn on the Audio of the DVD player to the correct input. Doug
