Yes, I am very happy with the Midland. It is an excellent CB radio.

The best thing about it is this. That you can use it in the truck or as a handheld.

Thanks. We've not heard great things about the portable radios, but you're happy with it?
We need to have an antenna that isn't magnetic since we'll be using it with a motorhome.

I don't know that you'd need to have one installed.

I use a nice Midland handi-talky w/ a portable Cobra antenna (handles up to 300 watts)
