Cel phone for the winter only
We will be spending four months in the USA. What is the best (and the cheapest) cellphone that we could use there? Thanks. ps: I have a late model IPad with +3G. Would it help?

This is what I'll do then: Wallmart - Tracfone - card - service protection plan.
Do you think that it is a one Wallmart stop does it all and ready to go, including activation?
you have to call in to tracfone as I recall to initiate service. not really sure as I have changed tracfones about 5 times and had to call to switch service, can't remember what I did the first time.
