Just started using my new Samsung S7 phone... Came across a problem that I have never had on previous phones and cannot find a place to correct it.. HELP.... When using the phones installed email prog...

OP, This is the correct way to deal with the problem. No need to disable email sync. Example.. In K9 mail on the S7, go to K9 Mail, settings and "Fetching Mail" and change the settings there to remedy your issue. You need to set setting(s) "Sync Server Deletions", When I delete a message" and Erase deleted messages on server".
