Cell Phone Screen Protector?

I have used film type screen protectors in the past on previous phones and with a few minor exceptions, they all worked pretty well... I now have an HTC One phone but no matter what brand of screen protector I try to install on it, they always look terrible and within a few days I remove them.. I know about dust free (as much as possible environment) when installing them but still no luck..Has anybody had any luck installing a screen protector on an HTC One (7) and if so, what brand are you using??

  • I avoid them also. Never had any damage problems either...
  • I don't use them on any of my smartphones as most now come with some variation of Gorilla glass, which is resistant to scratches. A case IMO is more useful.

Screen protectors "may" help avoid shattered digitizers if dropped, but largely depending on the type of protector.
  • Whatever brand I have I take it to the provider and have them do itknow. Its free, and they know all the tricks necessary to do the job. That's a job that can be a pain.
