Cell phone signal Booster ?

toss looking at bars. go to the system display or app that will show the actual signal level intdb. If the db level is in the -80db, and poor reception, system is bandwidth limited likely from to many users. -100db is entering marginal reception, -120 near the fringe.

we use a weboost if signal level is better than -120db it will usually get us in the -80 range. then it becomes an issue of how many users.

Even in places where the phones won't get any signal we often will get a -100 db signal, enough for phone calls.

But boosters won't solve all problems, and there ARE places where there is NO cell service even with the strongest allowed booster signal.

Well I don’t have an instrument, but if you have good signal, but response is slow, that is lack of band with. It is basically too many users for the cell towers available band width.
We just came from a situation like that in the Columbia Gorge. Decent signal strength, but constantly timing out, had to use either early in the morning or late in the evening.

Well, if you are in "tim buck to", and no cell service, you just can't make it so because you want it... :)

Get all the boosters you need to, but in the end, you get what you get wherever you are and that's that...

We have a Weboost installed in our FW. With 1 to 2 bars, we can connect with the Weboost "boosting" it to 3 bars. Depending on where we are sometimes 1 bar with the Weboost won't work.
