Cell phone spam
I'm getting a lot of ads and such on my cell phone. Is there a way to block them? I have an Android phone from Verizon. Thanks.

But probably not, since these people usually send a DIFFERENT CID number each day.....and it is often one that has no real connection to the people actually making the calls.
Trying to filter out these calls with any kind of a "block list" is about 99% ineffective and a waste of time.
