I don't understand the recent rush to dump satellite and go to streaming for our RV's. We are currently 10,000 miles into our recent trip. The satellite has worked just fine in all but a few parks that were heavily treed and in some of those, we were able to use our portable dish to overcome the problem. We do have unlimited service and do some streaming via ondemand. I can state that the times we either had not internet connection or such a slow connection that streaming would be impossible was way, way more than when we did not have use of the satellite. We would be without TV much, much more if we depended on streaming. Yes you can pay less for streaming services. But you get what you pay for. You can't DVR most streaming services. Whenever the dish is blocked, we can still watch what we have on the DVR. No way will we cancel our satellite and go to streaming. If all you do is sit in one spot in a major service area, perhaps streaming is a good fit for you. If you plan to do any traveling, take a very close look at what you want and need. Chuck
