Choosing a service to download (not stream) tv shows?
There are so many options-- What do you use? What services offer a good deal? I want no ads, don't mind a fee comparable to netflix. I am often in places where streaming isn't practical.

As a practical matter, it will use up the same amount of data to download a show as it takes to stream it. If it is impractical to stream due to data limits, it probably won't help you.
If you are bandwidth limited, as I am today. You can often download for later viewing, may take 2-4 hours per hour of video but it can be done.
