If Microsoft offers something better than Win 10 they I will probably buy it. They will not be rescuing me because I'm quite content with it's performance.
If you read just about any ELUA you will find that you only lease the software at best, you never own it.
Trust me, I'm not a gates fan and I've been using everything but Windows until I felt I had to switch to benefit from mainstream development.
I use Start10 from Stardock in place of the stock Win 10 interface...been using Stardock products since my OS/2 days.
My only point is that there's no good reason not to try Win 10....if you hate Microsoft and don't want to switch then fine, to each his own but one is not putting oneself at any risk by going to WIn 10.
