Our GPSs give us live traffic updates and we watch the weather via our smartphones and/or laptops. We do, however, keep handheld FRS/GMRS radios in the vehicles. This is because on travel days I drive the tow vehicle and the wife follows in the "chase car." Works well for us and I don't need the distraction of other people chattering on a CB while I'm driving.
