We have a CB installed, mainly because it was there when we bought the coach. We turn it on sometimes to see what the truckers are saying about road conditions in poor weather, or if there are any other problems up ahead. I also have a scanner app on my phone that we can check when there's an unexpected traffic backup possibly due to an accident. Our GPS traffic info isn't very reliable on rural roads.
I haven't checked out any of the apps. Have they ever delivered any useful information for you, or are they ever of entertainment value?
