With this app it is real time and very accurate. It is free and the more folks using it the better.
You can use it as your gps if you want. I would love to see Rand Mcnally and Waze combine functions. That would be an amazing device.
Waze app
With the addition of a well setup, in vehicle cell phone amp coverage is outstanding which makes the Waze program even more effective. I followed the app from Central Florida to Northern Calif a few weeks ago and had about 99.8% coverage.
The waze app will allow you to actually communicate with other Wazers. The Waze is limited to 1000 miles at the time. Oh darn.
