Do you really want to put all of the personal data on your computer on a cloud service?
Get yourself a large capacity portable USB hard drive and True Image backup software and make your backups right at your computer where you know the data is not going anywhere it shouldn't.
X2. nobody will protect your data better than you will. what happens to the data if the BU provider goes belly up? can they guarantee...absolutely guarantee...that none of their employees will dip into your data? off-site storage for backups IS a good thing but that can be accomplished by keeping a backup copy in your safe-deposit box.
I go a bit beyond the single USB external hard drive when backing up my data...essentially my backups have backups. but no matter how many redundancies i, or you, have something untoward can always occur. given that possibility i'll deal with what I can deal with and eliminate the possibility of data/identify theft by securing my own backups.
