If you all ready have base camp you can down load and install the last version of garmins mapsource. Plan your route there. open base camp, clean everything out of it and then import the route to let you upload to the newer 2xxx and up to Nuvi's.
It is also best to clean out all old routes(trip) and waypoints(favorites) before you open Base Camp with the nuvi connected.
