Not only can they convert address to/from GPS, but GPS 2/from address.
Some even do maidenhead grid squares.. Mine just now is EM91
1. Yes I know. But 6 years ago when I started FT and use Garmin MapSource and I was looking for a campground location, MapSource would not find it. You had to spell the street the same way some programmer in India spelled it and sometime the North or South part of the street was only a N or S or sometimes times spelled out. For example MapSource would not find my mail forwarder at 411 N. 6th Street, Emery SD.
2. The above program is also very good to turn a number of addresses into POI's with the Lat/Lon.
