I have better luck with my frs radios then many have posted here. They work great around the campgrounds for kids. Pick a channel with no one on it and they can have lots of fun. We have two sets set to same channel, Makes it easy to get them back to the rig. That is when they were younger!

for the kids, get any set of frs at walmart, 30- 40-50=60 a pair for rechargeable ones.
