Coverting a file to MP3
Need help old geezer not computer smart. I have some audio books on Disc that I would like to covert to MP3 format and then load on a thumb drive. Is there any way to do this?

- i use an old version of Nero to copy and convert to mp3, the DW's country music discs

- I run my audio books through ITunes, then copy the mp3 or aac file onto a thumbdrive or an sd card.
Works for me, as my newer systems don't have a CD drive any more. - Media Monkey is free and simple to use.
I find Windows Media Player to be clunky, and if it detects DRM it will not convert the files. - Microsoft provides a program with Windows 7/8 to do this for you, Windows Media something or other.
There's also a lot of alternatives.
