- aslaksonExplorerSpendy! And limited to Verizon. (Not that there's anything wrong with Verizon).
I use the MBR-900, which also has WiFi as WAN. And works with my existing Verizon 4G stuff. Also much less expensive. Add in a Surf Mini for the WiFi external antenna, still much less expensive.
al - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIYikes! $600? There are a couple of Cradlepoint routers that do WiFi as WAS and unless you have some specific commercial need that requires the IBR600 I would suggest that you look at the others. The MBR95 does it all and should work fine for most users for less than $150. There are a few steps up from there but the differences mostly have to do with how far away you can get from the router with your computers.
The WiFi Ranger is a good choice as well, however, I am having issues now which I have not been able to get any support for from the Ranger folks. I have no idea why since I have been a beta tester for their products for many years. It gives me pause to be able to fully recommend the product at this time. - paulcardozaExplorerOne thing to check..... The Cradlepoint I HAd, did not work with Flitered Wifi connections, which many CG's use (Tengo). WifiRanger does work with filtered connections. Make sure to consider this.
