I tried that and there is no "taskbar location on screen" on the menu. All that shows 5 check boxes: lock the taskbar, auto hide the taskbar, keep the taskbar on top of other windows, group similar taskbar buttons and show quick launch. Locking the taskbar only makes it so that I can't move it at all.
