Data usage comparison

What difference, if any, is there between watching a one hour video on my android phone or using it as a hotspot to watch the same show on my smart television?

None that I can think of.. You might be able to reduce the bps rate to say 480 and that will save a lot of data compared to 1080. I do that from time to time when I just have to watch something while in cell range! ;)

    Good luck!

Thanks. That is why I asked the question. One would guess that it would take less data to fill a four inch screen than a 32, but guessing always gets me in trouble.

Googled that and a whole lot more. It is a very simple and concise question. It should not take going through dozens of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to get the answer. I figured The Technology Forum on RV.Net might have the answer and someone would share it. Not tell me to "Do a search".
