Delete 'BING'
Something keeps updating and using data allowance on this Wdws8 program - I think it might be "Bing' ... and I've deleted it a couple times but it keeps coming back. I'd like to uninstall it comple...

Monkey, if you're concerned about Live Tiles or other apps using up your 4G connectivity with W8.1, choose Settings, Change PC settings, Network, and click on the Verizon 4G network icon. Then, set Metered Connection to On.
That will automatically tell W8.1 to throttle automatic downloads while still permitting normal PC usage.
The definition of a "metered connection" is one which has a charge per unit and a maximum limit before overage charges apply. That's what your VZN 4G sounds like.

Yeah - you're kinda right - but it's a 4G data device (Not W8.1) unless that's part of the data device. I can never figure it all out - even when I think I have, it fools me again :)
Will solve this problem permanently next week with a new Windows7 install on a clean HD in this LT ... I know, I know - Windows8 is great!! But only for those that like it. I spent the time learning Windows7, I like it - and I have two other LT's with Windows7, I like it, I like it :) - so, will go back to it.
Hopefully, when we do this new install - the 'tags' that allow all this other******into my LT without truly asking me will disappear and the 'sneak it in' will stop.
Don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'd sure rather have only what "I" choose not what others sneak in. Seems to me, if they have a product that is TRULY GREAT, they wouldn't have to sneak it in, I'd go looking for it.
