I changed from dish to direct several years ago when dish wanted 300 bucks to swap the 1 DVR for 2 small receivers. There was no discussing the situation till after I dumped them, then they had plenty of time to talk. They have been beggin me ever since.
But I was upset w/ Direct last year,....almost dumped them when I tried to switch my locals to Quartzsite, and they told me they couldn't do that anymore unless I actually moved there, saying FCC had changed the regs on that. Decided to give it one more shot before dumping them, and the next call to them said they had never heard such a thing, and pretended to not be able to find who I talked to before. Anyway, he switch them, and in 20 seconds I had them.
