My problem with a basic compass is that if I try to locate the dish near the MH, the needle is pulled by the engine in back and the generator in front. We just got our first smart phone and I have read good things about an app called Dishpointer AR pro that I think I will try. $20.00 for it but looks like a good investment vs poor relations with my wife.
