DirecTV broadcasts their entire line (almost) of channels in SD from the 101 satellite. That's how the domes are able to receive nearly all of the DTV programming. If they drop SD then the question becomes.....what WILL be broadcast from the 101 satellite (the only KU band satellite) or will the 101 satellite be replaced or what. I doubt they will change to a KA band as their 99 and 103 satellites are as this would require that DTV change EVERY antenna on EVERY home.
