Have had directv for about 15 years, never had a service call. Downgraded to the fabulous Genie last fall. Quit working after one day. They sent a service tech and he installed all new cables. Not pretty because all are cables were in the wall, now I got some running along the wall. Quit working again and the bill went up about $15 more than thy promised. Won't lower price because of the switch I am now on a new contract and lost all prior "life time" discounts. Came out and replaced the power inserter, multi switch and tweaked the dish. Replace all those parts because the did not really know what's wrong. Funny they quit sending service evaluations for me to reply to after they would not lower my bill.
