Direct TV Satellite use for Dish?
I am in the process of moving from DTV to Dish, and I have a portable tripod dish that I use with my RV from DTV. Can that satellite dish be used with the Dish service box? Mike

For SD programing, the same dish and LNB will work on both services.
Or they used to, because I did it.
The manual single LNB crankup dishes that came standard on RVs in the late 90s for several years, would work on either service.
