Direct TV turn off date

They are not targeting RV's. They are just dropping the SD (sat 101)across the board. That means anybody that is using the 101 Sat will be losing some channels if not all by the end of the summer. Direct wants all their customers to utilize the HD sats and HD receivers. They feel that the cost of the SD and 101 sat for the fewer people out there does not make economic sense. BTW, Tiffin Motorhomes has dropped Direct as a factory installed Receiver for the 2019 model year. They have supplied Dish Wally receivers for all 2019 with Sat domes from the factory---because Dish has fewer problems(can also supply HD) than Direct TV and probably because of the phase out of the 101 Sat.
