We dropped DTV a couple years ago when the cost got to $70+ a month. Sent their cards back and trashed the SD boxes. I swapped out the old SD TVs with new "smart" Vizio HD TVs, and now I can either watch available over-the-air HD channels off my batwing antenna, or with my Verizon MiFi unlimited plan can access multiple streaming services built right in to the Vizio HD TV. I know that to stream a 90 min movie at 1080p off Netflix cost about 4MB of data. Once you get to roughly 22MB of data streamed, Verizon starts throttling the data down to about 600mbps. We mostly watch off air HD channels. I can pick up 25-40 "digital" channels usually everywhere we camp.
