We have had Dish at home for many years. Added a vip211k and Tailgater to the home account for $7/mo thru their dishformyrv com program. Added a hard drive for DVR. Gets the same channels as home.
I have no interest in east or west coast feeds. I want locals in the vicinity of and the time zone of where ever I am at the time. If I am still within my home spot beam, no problem. If I am outside my home area I just call Dish, say I am in my RV and need to change my service address, give them the address of the RV park, and a few minutes later have local network channels of the nearest city. Programs are in the correct time and local news and weather is great to have.
We have a single vip622 DVR dual channel receiver at home for two TVs rather than 2 separate receivers.
