acampingwewillgo, I did not understand that you wanted DNS as your only service while at home and in your RV. If true locals are now available in your area I understand the issue.
Most people actually want local locals. That's what tech writer is referring to when he asks way any Dish customer would want DNS when they can call to get locals.
If you don't want to watch locals at home but would rather watch NY/LA then you can send in the RV waiver and register all of your receivers as being in your RV. If you do nothing else you will have DNS where ever you use your receivers.
