directtv from home to rv?
I'm looking at a 2016 5th wheel, probably will buy it. It has a roof mounted DirectTv tracking dish. Can I just use one of my receivers and its remote control from home?

DTV domes pick up 101 only which has SD channels. DTV is dropping SD probably in Feb. It's unknown what future channels will be on 101 but they will be HD only and perhaps none of the national channels.
Plus you need to match up your receiver sat input to both your home dish and the rig dish which may require additional equipment.
With the hand writing on the wall I gave away my working in motion dish in 2014 for a SWM dish. My HR24 receiver worked at home and the RV and later I upgraded the house to SWM and the HR44 which is a much better unit.
