Yes, the DTV/uVerse contract dispute impacts every CBS O&O (owned & operated) local station, as well as their satellite-only channels (e.g., CBS Sports Network). It doesn't appear to impact their streamed subscription service, CBS All Access, which has led some conspiracy theorists to speculate that CBS' motivation to hardball this contract is to boost CBS AA subscriptions.
But, this sort of thing happens to every carrier - both sat & CATV. I remember when Dish had a similar battle with a group owner, and when Comcast came down to the 11th hour on another renewal with Viacom (CBS + the Viacom sat channels).
Personally, I give kudos to DTV for maintaining their DNS service with non-O&O stations. But, DTV owners don't have to worry about losing their local NFL team's coverage; just go for the full NFL package.
