DIRECTV GenieGO™ is a small device that works with your Genie or HD DVR receiver to let you watch your recorded shows on your computer or mobile device anywhere. You have a couple options for watching your shows on your device:
Download your shows from your DVR playlist to your device when you're in your home Wi-Fi network and then watch them wherever you want, even without an Internet connection.
When you're joined to any Wi-Fi network, not just your home Wi-Fi network, you can also stream your shows instantly to your device without having to download them first. GenieGO works only with DIRECTV Genie or HD DVR receivers.
