GenieGo is apparently a no go. Finally got a tech today who told me that GenieGo is being dropped and is no longer available from any source. Those who now have them are still able to use them, for the time being, but will eventually be cut off.
I have dealt with DirecTV for long enough to know that nothing they tell you is, "for sure". I wouldn't take any information as 100 percent factual.
