We’re all learning and your post could mean “if installed correctly”. Since the Video Bridge connects to SWM it could be located anywhere with a coax and I assume AC power.
And according to the installer DTV no longer ships any equipment to consumers because there to many cases of consumer confusion/incorrect installs. He said that for one house there was a smart TV with WiFi in every room and he could not install the DTV Video Bridge and C41W.
I found this on DTV but it doesn’t address devices connected to the wireless router via WiFi.
