DirecTv . . Switching from SD to HD
All . . . . . We are thinking about going from SD to HD with Directv. Has anyone done this lately?? They will update our equipment for free, and charge an extra $13 per month for the Gene HD package...

You are right about them been harder to deal with. Some time it helps to say bye and call back and hope you get some one that is better to deal with. I was talked into the genie and they said it would not raise my bill wrong it did. I have a lot of friends that are quitting the pay TV for over the air and it seems to work for them. I believe all the pay TV people are starting to price them self out of business.
