I don't understand your comment. The Tailgater is Automatic. The Tailgater does receive HD programming. It will switch Sats depending on what channel your on to maintain HD programming. I don't notice any lag when changing channels.. You only go though setup once per location as long as the Receiver does not loose power.
I have had manual single LNB, Dual LNB and Three LNB HD Dishes and the Tailgater is MUCH easier...
I like the idea of a portable. I prefer to park in the shade which is problematic with domes.
I would also recommend the Smart Phone Sat App for checking for obstructions like trees when placing the Tailgater works great......
